    Hi Kelvin,

I have just this minute sent you an email.
Please only use your first name in the Name field and then your license key.
I think there is a bug when first and surname is used.

Let me know how it goes. If you are still having problems, please provide temporary admin login credentials via email at: support@css-javascript-toolbox.com

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    Hi Finn,

Thanks for your nice words about the CJT plugin. I am pleased to hear you are using it on many of your websites.

This is a great suggestion, and you are right that it is a good idea for CJT to play nicely with highly popular plugins such as WooCommerce. In fact, we have had a similar request posed before with this plugin here: http://codecanyon.net/item/youtube-wordpress-plugin-video-import/4429742 where the user could not get the category custom type to appear.

I believe in order to get this to show, we would need to further enhance the custom posts feature of CJT to support additional taxonomies for other plugins.

I will try to schedule this development in the near future. Thanks again.

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    Hi Kim,

Yes, you can add the license key under Setup. If you do not see Setup in the dashboard menu under CJT, then you may still be running CJT Free, which should be shown in the CJT dashboard title. Please overwrite or reinstall the css-javascript-toolbox folder to the version you purchased.

    Thanks,
    Damian

    Hi Kelvin,

I’m sorry for the delay in responding.
Unfortunately third party script implementation is really out of scope of CJT Dev support.

On another note, we are releasing an import/export feature for CJT Pro/Dev soon and that will allow users to share scripts, upload them to the http://www.cjt-scripts.com website and even discuss script implementation. Keep an eye out on this awesome feature.

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    Hi Mark,

Thank you for the detailed explanation. That certainly helps.
I have a sneaking suspicion what may have happened there. I will add this to the ‘things to check and fix’ task list and once we understand exactly what’s going on, we will have this solved in the next update.

    Hi Mark,

WOW!!! I am speechless, totally lost for words. This is one of the best feedbacks I have ever received and I am so humbled reading this. Thank you so much, it means a lot to me, and thank you so much for your purchase.

    Hi Mark,

    Thanks for your purchase.
Hmmm, the name field can take anything value in there, it is the license key field that matters. Can I ask exactly what you did to get that error so I can get to the bottom of it. Also, did you update from CJT Free on WordPress.org, and if so, do you recall the version number? Was it an older version number like prior to 7.0?

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    Hi Antonio,

I understand what you are saying.
The checker is used to check new keys, not keys that are already registered in the database. You are right in what you are saying and it should check for new valid keys as well as existing keys in the database as this makes sense.

Can I suggest, Deactivating your key, click Reset, then enter your name and license key again. click Activate and then let me know how you get on. I will then check the database to see if it is all linked up.

    Thanks,
    Damian

    Hi Antonio,

I think it may be a server glitch. I will however resend you the CJT Dev license key information.

Keep in mind that CJT Pro and CJT Dev is currently at version 7.1 and not 7.1.1, which is the free version. You will know you have the free version installed if you have 7.1.1 and CSS & JavaScript Toolbox Free showing in the title. Also the free version now has a dashboard widget.

Now all of that said, and after reading your post, it seems you do have CJT Dev installed because Free does not have the license checker form.

Can you try resetting/clearing your license key and try again.
Let me know how it all goes.

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    Hi Stephen,

The issue is a bug in CJT Pro/Dev before 7.1 and is caused by not activating license keys, and instead updates your CJT Dev plugin using the standard WordPress updater, which checks for CJT Free on WordPress.org. Unfortunately, the bug allowed for WordPress to overwrite Dev with Free. To overcome this bug, please install your latest copy of CJT Dev 7.1 again by doing one of two things:
    1) Use FTP to overwrite the existing css-javascript-toolbox folder in the plugins folder.
    2) Alternatively you can deactivate and uninstall the Free, but make sure you do not have the ‘Wipeout data’ checkbox checked in General plugin settings (cog icon). Keeping that unchecked allows you to retain your existing code block and template data. Then you can upload the latest 7.1 CJT Dev version using the standard WP plugin uploader.
Once installed, make sure you use the license key that was provided, so you will continue to get the latest CJT Dev updates.

Just a note that Free is up to version 7.1.1, which has a dashboard promo widget added, whilst CJT Pro and Dev are on 7.1 without this widget. Also the CJT Dev plugin says CSS & Javascript Toolbox Dev in the header.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    Hi Darren,

    Thanks for your question.

Unfortunately we currently do not have a function that disables the TinyMCE shortcode embedder button for the editor. Also, even if we did, users could still add shortcodes manually (of course if they knew the shortcodes that is).

We may consider implementing more security toggles such as disabling this button in the future. We currently have a similar function in General Plugin Settings (cog icon in CJT dashboard page) that disables Metabox code blocks at the page/post level. In the future, we could extend this form and have a toggle to disable the CJT shortcode button.

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    Hi Sylwia,

Thank you so much for providing this important information, which I am sure will help others.

On a similar note, we are hoping to release the import/export feature in the near future, and this will allow you to transfer across all your code blocks, code files, script templates, and script packages into another WordPress install with CJT Pro or Dev.

    Enjoy your day.

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    No problems at all.
I won’t rush into it, as I carefully need to consider the pros and cons of merging the forums. Currently there is not much difference to Dev and Pro except for the license stipulation for Dev, which provides unlimited website installs, support and automatic updates. That said, when we start to incorporate more ‘developer’ oriented features into CJT Dev, then it makes more sense to have separate forums.

    Hi Sylwia,

You are right in both saying that CJT Dev buyers has no access to CJT Pro forums AND it does not make much sense. đŸ™‚

I have considered this in the past, and I will be merging both CJT Pro and CJT Dev into the one forum soon.

    Hi Sylwia,

Thanks for the nice words, glad you love the plugin.

As for the export/import feature, this is a feature that we want to implement into CJT Pro and CJT Dev in the near future. We have been getting a lot of requests for a feature like this so this has been escalated to the top of the tasks pipeline. That said, I am sorry but I cannot provide an estimation for when it will be available.

    Hello Antonio,

Yes, please register a new account on that site – it is 100% Free and you are most welcome.

CJT Scripts is the new support site for CJT Script Packages.
The site will be dedicated to scripts for CJT and there will be three types of scripts on offer:

    1) Do It Yourself Scripts: these are scripts that are widely available over the net, and we are going to explain step by step how to install them into your site using CJT.

    2) CJT Script Packages: these are the more finished and polished script packages that the CJT team have checked and developed further.

    3) User Script Packages: these scripts are from users who have registered a Free account, and uploaded their own script packages for others to download and share around.

We look forward to seeing you there.

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    Hi Kelvin,

Please overwrite your existing copy either using FTP or the WordPress Plugin uploader. The easiest way is via the WordPress plugin uploader. If you want to be on the safe side with protecting the code blocks work you have already done, then you may consider backing up your database OR at least take ‘copy and paste’ backups of your code blocks.

If you decide to use the WordPress plugin uploader, it is recommended to first click the gear cog icon called ‘General plugin settings’ and make sure that the ‘Wipe out data’ checkbox is NOT checked. By keeping this UNTICKED will retain all your code block information when you deactivate and delete the CJT Free plugin. This is more or less a precautionary measure, so if you do not have any code blocks or templates then this action is not required.

Once you have deactivated and deleted the CJT Free plugin, upload and activate the CJT Dev plugin that you purchased and downloaded. Go through any upgrade steps if required. You should now have the new CJT Dev plugin installed and all of your original code blocks intact.

Please use your license key so you will be alerted to updates from now on. Thanks for purchasing.

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    Hello Takahiro,

    Thanks for your message.
No it should work fine with WordPress 3.9.1 as I have tested it with this version of WordPress. This is a strange issue, that seems like it could be a PHP memory error (without outputting the error).

Please provide us with temporary admin login details of your website via our email address: support@css-javascript-toolbox.com and we will take a look for you.

Also, are you running the latest CJT Dev 7.1 version?

    Kind Regards,
