Hi there,
I am real sorry about the delay in replying, it seems we missed this ticket unfortunately.
Did you manage to get this working? Can you email us directly, so we can take a look at what you have done. Thanks,
CJT TeamDamian BakerParticipantHi Daniel,
Sorry for the delay in replying on this issue.
Please keep an eye out for CJT PLUS v11.3 as this will have the Invert feature back in. We have also made fixes to the URLs and Expressions assignments.
I am hoping for a release in the coming days.
Thanks for your understanding.Kind Regards,
Damian BakerDamian BakerParticipantHi Thor,
Thank you for your support question and letting me know about this.
Please tell me, are you using the self installer, where it creates the Code Blocks automatically or did you create everything manually?
You may have seen instructions for both ways.As for:
1) In css files thegenerates syntax error. Same for JS config. (I understand
<style> </style>
in HTML, but css and js?)The
<style></style> and <script></script>
declarations would be needed for the Code Blocks, however if they are used in Code Files or Code Templates then they should not be needed. Code Templates saves and loads them as actual real .css or .js files while Code Files uses a boilerplate snippet that automatically places this in for you. E.g.<style type="text/css">%s</style>
whereby%s
is your CSS code.As for the others points your mentioned, based on further investigation, it may require an update.
Thank you.Kind Regards,
Damian BakerDamian BakerParticipantHi Kelvin,
I believe you have the older and deprecated CJT CORE and CJT PLUS, is that correct?
Regards,
DamianDamian BakerParticipantHi Kat,
Currently there is no provision to delete Revisions except through the database where they are stored. I can’t tell you off the top of my head, which table sorry. Additionally, there is no way to delete all revisions.
That said, I think it is a great new feature idea to add a little delete icon or ‘x’ next to each revision to delete the record.
I do like this and will look into adding this to the features pipeline for the next release.Kind Regards,

Sorry for the delay in responding.
I am not sure if you have solved this, but I have seen this issue a number of times before. Please clear your browser cache, then do a hard refresh of the CJT dashboard page. Clearing the browser cache is required especially when you are migrating to a totally different version of CJT as it needs to pull in the latest scripts and stylesheets.I hope this helps.

Damian BakerDamian BakerParticipantHi David,
It is personal preference to have either ECM PLUS or CJT PLUS.
The main difference is that ECM uses a totally different user interface that is responsive. We are finding a lot of people are preferring the CJT user interface because it has buttons to perform actions fast, while with ECM, people instead must click the Panels button to get to some of those same actions. The Panels button in ECM keeps things more tidy, organised and responsive – even on mobile devices, although it can take that bit longer to find what you are looking for at first glance. So you may find there is an extra mouse click to get to that action. Lastly, I should mention that CJT is partly responsive. As for the overall build quality and performance, both plugins are equal as they mostly share the same code base.
I will send you the CJT PLUS plugin zip file shortly.
ThanksRegards,
Damian BakerDamian BakerParticipantHi David,
I have resolved this for you and sent you an email.

Damian BakerDamian BakerParticipantDamian BakerParticipantHi David,
Thanks for your message.
That does sound about right. There was another version of CJT PLUS 1.1.2 before it jumped to CJT 8.4We wanted to provide a similar versioning structure for Free/Core and PLUS to keep things synchronised and make it less confusing. So as things currently stand, the CJT Free/Core version on WordPress.org is at 8.4.1 and the latest CJT PLUS is at version 8.4
It is interesting why it is saying that the update is unavailable for this plugin though. Can you send an email with temporary admin credentials so I can check your license section.
Sorry for the confusion.Regards,

I think i understand what you are saying. Your site has subscribers and when they login, they will all see this news widget – correct? Also, to let you know, I have changed the news post recently so this ‘advert’ should no longer be shown in your dashboard.

Are you talking about the CSS & JavaScript Toolbox News widget on the WordPress dashboard. This can be turned off by going into Screen Options at the top right-hand side of the dashboard. Then uncheck CSS & JavaScript Toolbox News.

Damian BakerDamian BakerParticipantHi there,
Thanks for your feedback. I am currently working to redo the entire documentation with videos, write-ups and examples. A lot of what you said makes sense, and I am sure future releases can make this feature a lot more user-friendly and intuitive.
Also, it is up to the end-user to use this feature responsibly. Scripts cannot be ‘stolen’ if they are freely provided as open source (e.g. with a GPL, MIT or BSD license). Copyrights are kept intact because these scripts often have the script author in the header, which is often stipulated by the license.
Again, the end-user must adhere to the licensing for scripts hosted on CDNs and make sure there is compliance before using the External Script feature.Anyway, I appreciate what you have said and will add some of these ideas to the tasks list for future developments.

Damian BakerDamian BakerParticipantHi Craig,
Thanks for your support.
I think I understand the issue and what you are trying to do. If you like, I can take a look into your website and check out what is going on, just email me temporary admin login details.Else if you want to try yourself, firstly just to be safe, make a backup of your code blocks via copying your code to a text editor, or if you prefer, just backup your database.
You would need to deactivate and delete CJT Core from Plugins. This is not used or needed by CJT PLUS that you just purchased. In fact, you should be able to deactivate all your licenses and reset the fields before deactivating and deleting CJT Core. You also should deactivate and delete the previous version of CJT PLUS. Since your code is contained within the database, this should carry across just fine to the new versions.
Then go into Plugins and do a search for CSS & JavaScript Toolbox or go to WordPress.org and download the free version here: https://en-au.wordpress.org/plugins/css-javascript-toolbox/
Once you have installed and activated CJT Free from WordPress (link above), you can then upload, install and activate the premium CJT PLUS version you just purchased. Click the Setup link in CJT PLUS (in Plugins) and you should be able to enter your license key you received.Let me know how you go.

Sorry about the delay. You are right.
This website has not been sending me notifications and I only check the forum once in a while. I need to fix this.As for your question, which is a great question. I do not believe you have that sort of pin-point control to place it just after the
tag in either CSS & JavaScript Toolbox or Easy Code Manager. That said, I will pose this question to the senior developer as I am interested to know myself. Maybe this can be a future feature and if it is not hard to do, I can try to fast-track such a development.
Kind Regards,
Damian Baker
Damian BakerParticipantHi Jesse,
Sorry for the confusion. I did check out that screenshot and you do have the latest version.
9.0.1 is the latest for CJT Core and 2.0 is the latest for CJT PLUS.Now we have been working on an update, which will have:
– better error management – especially SQL errors
– performance tweaks
– a new Code Beautify feature
– a new Code Minify featureI can’t say exactly when this will be ready but I am hoping not too far away.
Regards,
Damian BakerDamian BakerParticipantHi Mark,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Yes, we do have 1.1.1 available, however I am not sure why you cannot see it.
Did you enter your license information for automatic updates?
I will check your license connection tomorrow for you. See what may be going on.Regards,

Can you send me temporary admin login details so I can take a look.
I have your licenses on file so I will be able to add the details straight on your dashboard. I am not sure what version of CJT you are running, so if you are running a legacy version, we can provide the latest for you.Regards,

Thanks for reporting this issue to us. I will forward this to my senior developer for further analysis.
Yes, we will be updating the plugin in the near future.Much appreciated.
Regards,
Damian BakerDamian BakerParticipantHi Kelvin,
Thanks for your support question. I apologise for the delay.
We see these errors from time to time and they can be caused by various means. Some due to syntax errors in the code blocks and others via unresolved errors within the plugin itself. This is generally not an issue, as these generated errors (or warnings) do not pose problems. That said, recently we have been dedicating more development on capturing and handling errors better, and also making the installer and uninstaller a lot more robust. Our aims are to make the plugin a lot more robust in general.Regards,
Damian BakerFebruary 19, 2017 at 1:30 PM in reply to: Multisite support – show this code-block on all sites #12918Damian BakerParticipantHi Sjur,
CJT does have limited support on multisite. Meaning it does work on multisite installs, but is limited on control of the Code Blocks on each site within the multisite install. What you said is a great idea to have a Aux setting or even a seperate dashboard for assigning code blocks within a multisite install.
This would be a great development. Unfortunately the senior developer of the CJT project is no longer with us, so I am currently looking for another. I hope to find one soon.
